Cafe4U

Café4U runs as a social enterprise, and has been developed by BATIAS Independent Advocacy Service, a Registered Charity working with and empowering people with learning disabilities.

The Café offers training opportunities for people with learning disabilities, and other vulnerable adults, to gain experience in a real workplace that will help them improve their chances of getting a paid job. We try to involve trainees in all aspects of running the Café, helping them develop their skills and gain confidence in their new role.

The Café also aims to offer and promote healthy eating choices, and at times you may find information and displays on a range of healthy lifestyle issues. The Café offers a variety of food, including naughty cakes and desserts, prepared on site.

All the staff are really enthusiastic, but please be patient as we run the café as a training opportunity and we are all learning!
